I, as a conservative, am aware that MLK was a closet communist (who worked with them), and he supported reparations and affirmative action.  Any conservative who claims MLK to be their own is stupid.

MLK was also not morally conservative, he had sex orgy parties, was a serial adulterer, had an illegitimate child with his maid and would only have sex with white hookers to show his dominance.

MLK jr spoke truth, that's why they assassinated him, if Americans woke up and realized socialism is not their enemy but rather the people telling them that it was their enemy all along.
