Should I play softball my freshman year of highschool or focus on school and other extracurriculars?

I am a freshman in high school. I have never really played sports before so I am thinking of trying out for softball. I have never played softball but I want to give it a shot. My concern is that I will have to miss school quite a bit and I am taking very advanced classes. Should I just try to balance sports, school, volunteer work and arts or should I stop biting off more than I can chew?

Only you know who much time you need to keep your grades up.  Academics needs to be top priority.

Two adults and three kids go to a restaurant. The first day, they spend $47.50. The 2nd day, they spend $72.50. Adults are charged differently than kids (kids are less). How much is an adult's meal and how much is a kid's meal at that restaurant? I got $11.75 for adults and $7.92 for kids on the first day. $18.13 for adults and $12.08
