There is only one Christianity and there is unity in the body of Christ, not division. Man makes up denominations that God never commands us to follow.

1Co 1:12 Some of you are saying, "I am a follower of Paul." Others are saying, "I follow Apollos," or "I follow Peter," or "I follow only Christ."
1Co 1:13 Has Christ been divided into factions? Was I, Paul, crucified for you? Were any of you baptized in the name of Paul? Of course not!
1Co 1:10 So I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Three "branches" - The original Church founded by Jesus Christ in the year 33, to which He promised the fullness of God's truth, the Catholic Church; The Orthodox churches, which defected from the original Church in the 11th Century; and the thousands of manmade denominations of Protestantism, each claiming to be teaching biblical truth, yet the teaching of each one contradicting the teaching of the others.
