How do I install RAM?
I have already cut down the perforations, but I can't find a slot where it will fit. Please help I need more to perform my calculations faster, they've been a bit slow as of late.

No cutting of perforations are ever done to RAM strips. You have ruined yours.
Slots are custom made to the particular type of strip. There are many different ones. You should investigate what is best for your computer. See http://www.crucial.com/

I once knew a knew a man in Pilton situated South of Mendip who stuggled with this.
If it's a quality laptop there will be a little sqaure 'Pan'el which needs to be removed, usually with a screwdriver.
If it's a PC, you'll have to dismantle the tower and replace or add to what's already there.
