    Although not explicitly stated in the Bible, it does seem to hint at that (Mt 9:24).

    No, but if you start with the conclusion that there is an omnipotent god and He is responsible for everything, then absolutely anything can be used to support that.  The thing is that there is no actual reason to start with that conclusion.  In fact starting with a conclusion is not the way logic normally works.
