How useful is mewing if you don t put much focus on protein?

I m a skinny 6 0 24 year old guy 149.91 pounds and i ve been trying mewing. One of those products where you can chew and strenghten your jaw. Is it possible i ll start noticing differences? I eat, i just don t put too much focus on protein.

Its so difficult for me to gain weight i sorta wanted to dodge that..

    Changing your jawline (if it even works) isn't going to change the fact that you're underweight.

    I'm not clear on how strengthening your jaw would produce any differences in the rest of your body. If you want to not be skinny, strength train and eat an appropriate diet for muscle growth (protein is key). If I misunderstood your post, I apologize but it's unclear. You mention being tall and very slim, then say you chew a product to strengthen your jaw, which seems to be a different topic.
