The Earth doesn't have a name. "Earth" is the English word for it, while every other language has its own name for it.

Nearly every language has a name for earth, so technically it has been named many, many times...

For each word in the dictionary, you can ask who picked out that word.
Of course, there are different words in other languages. You can look at the etymology of each word and it will trace where the word came from, but, in the end, it just tells you what part of the world it came from -- but not who, or how that word came about.
So, what are you planning to do with the answer to this question? Are you going on "Jeopardy"?

It depends how far back you're prepared to go.
In English we call our planet Earth, but in Latin it's Terra firma.
Which isn't exactly the same meaning but is a near enough equivalent.
