Can't see through scope?

Try opening your eyes.

 Did you mount that scope, or did someone who has no idea? You're putting a sensitive optical instrument on another instrument. Great care and attention to detail... Of all possible issues, incorrect mounting is likely as it is easiest to fix. Take it off and redo. Loosen the bases, lay a scope in the channel to ensure they're in line, tighten bases. From 14 to 18 inch pounds. Know the terms, 1) eye relief: the distance from the ocular lens to where the eye focuses. Usually determined by holding a flashlight in the objective lens and lifting both off the kitchen table to where you see the filament of the bulb in clear focus on the table. "Zero" the scope, you can do that by either counting clicks on your adjustment dials and put them in the middle, or putting the scope on a mirror so the crosshairs are superimposed on the reflection of the crosshairs. Torque on rings is usually no more than 18 INCH POUNDS. Level, level, level.

Well, you do have to put your e6e in line with the scope. Maybe not close enough to it.

So you have probs, , my failing eyes, right eye dominant, I now have to sight with my left eye, shooting right handed.

Where your eye is in relation to the gun does not matter.  Is your scope on backwards?  Upside down?  Cross ways?  Maneuver your eye in relation to the scope until you get a full sight picture. Is you eye directly behind the scope?  If not, the scope is bad.  If so, watch a youtube video to see how to mount a scope.

New scope? Fat end forward? Place power on 6 and rotate eye piece in and out slowly at an object 100 yd away. You may need to move your head back and forth in order to compensate for Parallax. Read the manual or get it online.

Sounds like Parallax is your problem. You are probably on high power looking at something close or your face is too close to the eyepiece

Which eye do you use and do you shoot left handed? Left handed shooter but right eye dominant would be a big problem.

One of the anonymous cowards who answered might be right, it might be on backwards. Also, it might be an Extended Eye Relief scope. Look up the exact model and serial number online and fund out if it's an EER scope.

You have the scope turned  (pointed) the wrong way. Turn it around.
