How come the coronavirus is spreading rapidly in Europe/Western countries but yet has so few cases in India/Third world countries?

People in those places perhaps aren't cruising and traveling the world as much as those from more advanced nations do.

europeans on average are rich enough to travel

or maybe third world countries aren't rich enough to test people

Because these places don't have a lot of tourism from China.

Maybe they don't care, or have more serious issues to be concerned about than a virus that causes flu-like symptoms.

It makes sense that the most popular places to travel would have more cases if safety measures are not in place.

200 000 people died of the common flu last year.... probably will next year too. Get perspective.

Because there is more international travel to the developed world so more chances of transmission across borders. An area with little international travel will have fewer chances for the spread of the virus.
