Is there any proof of Bashar al-Assad ordering attacks on his own people?

Despite being a dictator, he always seems calm, and never mad. Is there any proof of him acting aggressive? And talking like a dictator?

You mean aside from the actual attacks on his own people?

  • Since they are in a "civil war" that's likely unavoidable.

Doesn't mean the US should be there, though.

No, President Assad is a great man and a great leader. There is more evidence proving that he never attacked his own people. Only Israel and the USA have attacked Syria.

It's just provocation to keep us in Syria longer. None of our business how these people rule themselves,
