Given that over 60 is the target age for corona virus, should full social security age be lowered from 67 at least for the time being?

'Fraid that would require Congress to work together (instead of stuffing the aid package full of wishlist pork from both sides of the aisle).

What do you mean "target age" for the coronavirus? There is no target age. However, the elderly who have underlying health problems; e.g. heart disease, diabetes and lung disorders are more likely to die if they get it.
As for social security, they have never changed the minimum age for filing for retirement benefits. People can still begin receiving benefits at age 62 if they want to (and widows and widowers can begin receiving at age 60). It is only the full retirement age which has changed and it is currently age 66. It won't be age 67 for many years.

There is no "target age". That is the people who are at risk when sick of actually dying.

Be lowered? HA! This is JUST the right time to increase it. Would you give your enemy's asthma inhaler for free if you took it while they're having an attack?

Yep.
The only reason they raised it from 62 is because they figured ppl were living longer. 😌 They wanted to pay as minimal as possible.
