Why donI have to pay 5-10 cents per a paper bag, that was free before the plastic bag ban in grocery stores?

That's a good question to ask the people charging you. Where i live, there is no charge but paper is rarely an option. I carry reusable bags.

I don't know. They should. But did you know that not too long ago we were shamed into USING plastic bags instead of paper bags because 'we' wanted to save the TREES?

IDK, if I don't bring my own bags my only other choice is to buy one's in the store or carry the items without any bags.
