Not sure why it matters or why we would immediately check to see when a guy's birthday is the second he asks us out on a date.

I don't think you even need to worry about this because I doubt many women want to be with someone who has such negative views on women to make a stupid generalized statement like "women like that think the world revolves around them". The idea that you think women think like this is the problem, not the 8 day age difference.

It probably isn't the 8 days in age difference that is the issue.
Even 8 years is not that big of a gap.
Given the tenor of your post I think you may be the one under the impression that the world revolves around them.
