Wife has called Service CANADA 200 times today as they commanded her to due to resolve an issue. Why aren't they picking up?
She got letter commanding her to call their offices. She has recorded 215 calls - got through once and was told they aren't answering due to call volume. And they won't let her resolve the issue over the Internet.

The system must be over loaded with various Covid-19 relief programs. Plus they are probably understaffed and logistics of working at home all also because of Covid-19

Here is why-
All Service Canada offices in Canada are actually closed for the next several weeks, this means that all inquiries will be done over the phone/internet, and because of that phone waiting times will be a lot longer.
Your wife called in, and when she did she was given a priority number, this means that she has to wait in line over the phone to speak to a customer service rep, this could take well over an hour just to get through. I would wager your wife got frustrated and instead of waiting, she hung up, tried to cheat the system and was bumped to the back of the line each time.
My advice? Your wife needs to call them on Monday and she needs to actually wait her turn! If it takes 2 hours to get through to a rep, then so be it, its not ideal, but these are trying times, and she needs to understand that things are backlogged. If she shows patience, I can assure you that she will speak to a rep, and over the phone she can hopefully get whatever issue she has resolved.
