I think it's genuinely concerning how many Americans don't want to hit AMERICA with ANY responsibility whatsoever. We should be asking why Trump ended programs that were preparing for the pandemic, didn't fill positions, wouldn't use WHO tests, and more.

Why do you call it a charade? Do you not see the videos of hospitals filled with patients?

What do you suggest? In the future: No PPE will be made in China and very few drugs. I wouldn't expect tariff negotiations to go easier. I'm not saying that's enough...but what else?

I agree that China bears responsibility. It deserves to be named and shamed for its failure to share information about the early stages of the virus. They suppressed information, lied about the number of infected, and downplayed the danger.

But I disagree that Americans are opposed to blaming China for these failures. There are plenty of Americans on both sides of the political aisle who are furious at China for its response.

You know how liberals are. They believe white people are the root of all problems and non whites can do no wrong. I knew white people were going to get blamed for the Chinese virus. 

I believe every inflicted nation should join in the equivalent of a class action suit against China for their  reckless endangerment of the entire globe .
