20th

great music (BEFORE crap and shlt hop, & vocoded girly puke)

no ugly tattoos yet

no terrorists (including trump erublicans) and pandemics yet

The twentieth century.

I really liked the 5th century. There was a whole lot going on 

20th.  Penicillin to cure any VD you might catch at the drive in movie . Anesthetic to put you to sleep during operations  . lots of pain killers for painless recovery from broken bones.

And a couple of thousand atomic bombs making mushroom clouds for entertainment every week or so.

We even put a dozen guys walking around on the moon in the middle of the of the 20th. Not to mention Chuck berry , little Richard & Jerry lee Louis.

It was the best of times & the worst of times but  it never got boring at least not until near the end.
