Power outage while laundry was running?
My electricity went out midway through running the washing machine. Pretty sure it will resume when the power comes back on, but no idea how long a wait that will be.
How long can I let the clothes sit in detergenty water?
If I do have to take them out, what do I need to do with them? Just rinse the soap off in the shower? There's no bleach or other strong chemicals in there.

I believe they will be fine as long as they're not in there for days.
