    Not familiar with this subject but I think you need to be able to identify gates (like AND, OR, NOT, NAND & NOR), from looking at the circuit and then work out truth tables.  

    If, like me, you are not up to speed on this, then try to follow the video link below which claims to give a basic intro to “Boolean equations of logic circuits”
