Why do you watch WWE when you know it's fake??

Why do you watch movies and TV shows when you know they're fake?

fun to watch simple as that. Escapism at its finest. By the way a predetermined outcome [fixed fight] isnt actually fake. At the same time its not a real match. It is  somewhere in between. Its much more cartoon like these days though. In the old days before they ended kayfabe there were wrestlers who would  really beat guys up. They would follow the story line and lose as they were told to but hit the opponent with serious shots. Andre The Giant for instance hated Macho Man and hurt him every time they wrestled. Bruiser Brody was another one who would hit his opponents with real blows if he didnt like you. In fact he got stabbed back stage after a match in Puerto Rico and died. Old time wrestlers were a lot rougher . Ever notice how STIFF hulk hogan is now? To many injuries. Dude can barely walk. Pro wrestling is a tough job. 

I sometimes watch it just for the entertainment value

Not fake it’s scripted I hated when stupid non wrestling fans say or used word fake.

A break from reality. It is entertaining. As is watching a show or a movie. It is not everyone's cup of tea which is fine. As such is life.

Movies are fake? Cartoons are fake? WWE is an entertainment program, if we stopped watching things that are fake, then there would be no form of entertainment. 

hahaha this question should have not been asked and I think you already know the answer sir and thats like asking people in the movies section why do you watch movies when you know theyre fake, we watch cuz it is ENTERTAINING duh :)
