Great question!  I think it was K-tel's Star Power.  It was a mix of top 40 tunes of that particular time.  I was looking for the disco (Oh stop!) version of the Star Wars title song by Meco, which is on there.  I bought that album at the now defunct K-Mart in Woods Cross, Utah.  I still have that album, although it has a few scratches and is missing the record jacket.

The soundtrack from that documentary about The Who called The Kids Are Alright.

    That would have been 1979

In 1997 I bought Fat Boy Slim - You've Come a Long Way Baby. That was on Cassette Tape.

Billy Joel's Piano Man, I believe.  I was listening to my brothers and sisters records before that,  but I bought Piano Man.

I do remember what it was or when it was. All I know it was in the late 70's.
