I have seen my Brother twice in 20 years, he lives in Cyprus now with his wife. 22 years ago my Dad died it was a strange time. I was 29 years old my other eldest brother asked me to order some flowers and have them sent to the funeral place but I sent them to the house. I  didn’t put both my brothers name on the card as my husband thought it unfair that it should be just me paying for the flowers. My brothers buried my dads ashes at my nan and grandads grave but didn’t ask me to be there but then again I can understand it.  It plays on my mind sometimes as it seems to have caused maybe a wall between us. My eldest brother seems to be ok with me but I would like to maybe mend a bridge with my other brother he is five years older than me. Should I write a letter to him? As I said I’ve seen him twice in 20 years at a wedding and funeral and I just didn’t know what to say, just hello and goodbye. He moved to Cyprus last year. 

I lost my bag with my bank cards in I then phoned the bank to have a block put on my cards while I wait for a new one. I have a balance payment that is going to be automatically taken from my card for a holiday in the next two days. Even though the card is blocked will the money still be taken or should I contact the company?

I knew my dad had dies before I was told.

My daughter had woken up in the night after I had put her in with her sister I was walking back to my bedroom and suddenly felt cold it was July  and my teeth were chattering then I seen a long blue mist in front of me and as I was getting in bed my teeth were still chattering I knew I my dad had died but didn’t want to believe it. When I  went down stairs in the morning a  card was by the front door it said to phone the hospital regarding your father then the phone was ringing it was my sister in law she said my dad had died in the night. I feel that blue mist was my dad coming to me. 

My mom told me about my uncle who was in wales staying in his caravan. He was looking through his window and seen some people and some children in old fashion clothes they were waving to him he then went outside and no one was there, my mom said to him they were guardian angels. What do you think?

Just a genuine question on what people’s thoughts are.

My granddaughter has been put on a care order and is able to live with her mom ( my daughter)  since last November. They stay with us for a few days every other week with permission from her social worker. I asked if she wanted us to look after our granddaughter for the weekend so she could have some time to her self but she is wondering if that would be allowed without our daughter there. We are down as her support net work. Does anyone know if that would be allowed? 

I finished my job and let the manager know two weeks before they were due to start again. I was paid for the time I had worked but was expecting final wage ( week in hand) but nothing I sent emails to the wages clerk but no reply and called the number on the online wage slip but was just bleeping. I don’t want to contact the employee. Is there anyone I can contact about it?

last August I left a job that I wish I hadn’t I was offered another job by text from a former company and I told the manager I was leaving but he didn’t want me to but said to keep I touch In Future. The job I’m at now is getting me down the supervisor is always going on at me and the job I was doing before no body bothered me I was left to it. Should I contact my former manager and ask him if I can go back?

My daughter who is 27 was in a mother and baby residential unit and went to court for a progress review. All was going well with the assesment then she was told that the hair strand test that was taken last Tuesday was a positive for low cocaine but she has sworn she hasn’t taken anything and she lost her placement at the unit also the baby has gone back into short term foster care. My daughter is to return to court on Wednesday the judge wants the assesment to carry on at a different place maybe a foster live in placement also the hair strand has to be tested again. Is it possible that the test was wrongly tested?

My daughter might be going in a mother and baby unit if decided by the court

As she will be assessed and if she passes she will be able to keep our granddaughter.

Does anyone know what will help her pass the assesment.

I bath every day put deodorant on but the problem is my supervisor mentioned about my body odour I work in a school as a cleaner and the teachers are fussy says my supervisor and she said to keep an eye on it. I’m 48 I dont know if it’s to do with age. I always put clean clothes on so I don’t know why I still have body odour.

I reported some fraud activity on my bank card to the bank and they blocked my card , my card has arrived but do I have to let my employer know re wages as the new card is different sort code and account number.

Me and my husband were doing a connected persons assesment as our granddaughter is in foster care she is five months old . Our daughter was on heroin and the baby was born withdrawing. Our daughter is going down more on the methadone and should be off completely soon. The problem is we have had problems with the social worker lying on the report and also they say our house isn’t right for the baby to live with us even if our daughter was able to live here too. As she is still drug free and keeps on the same there will be an application for a mother and baby unit at the next court hearing January 31st if we pull out of the assesment would it affect our daughters chances?

Has anyone ever experienced a connected persons assesment with the social services if so did you complete it or leave it half way through?

Me and my husband have put our selves forward to foster our granddaughter if our daughter fails her assessment. We are being assessed they had to send off for a report from our daughters school, anyway the report came through and the social worker said that our daughter has extra help for exams apparently the students have a two hour exam and our daughter has an hour extra to everyone else so my husband phoned the school and he was told that no one has two hour exams and our daughter has ten to fifteen minutes extra and our daughter has said the same also she is not the only one there are a few doing the same. So why is he saying this?

My granddaughter is in foster care and because I’m being assessed I have had to give my work companysbname and address for a employers reference to social services now Called the children’s trust. I work in a school cleaning and the company is private. The social worker said to tell the school but it’s not the school that employers me it’s as I said a private company. I don’t know what to say really but should I tell them or just leave it?
