How do I make a dubstep (brostep) song?
Looking for common types of synth noises and structure, also any defining songs of the genre, preferably instrumental.

The best way to make dubstep (that I know of) is basically to mess around with your synthesizers until you create the most caustic and aggressive noises you possibly can. Then you can put them together. It's not bad to simply play with synths for a while.
