Atheists!! What is Atheism... according to you...?

I'm Agnostic...…..What is Atheism Stanley?  An atheist believes there is no God. Now that word means NOT or, in this case NO GOD. If you pop into the atheist camp you will more than likely discover a wide variety of reasons for the atheists denial as well as differing levels of certainty.

Ok! Some will deny with underlined determination that there is a God and claim to have proof of God's non-existence. On the other hand some  will simply say they do not believe there is a God though they could not prove God does not exist. What the  common denominator in this? Simple, they do not believe in God.  

Ok! Is Agnosticism a belief  that there is no God? NO. Its leaning more towards a theory of knowledge. Now again like the word atheist it means NOT or, no knowledge. An agnostic is a person who believes that human beings simply cannot know anything metaphysical or, beyond the physical realm therefore, they cannot know whether things like spirit, angels or God exist at all.

Now this is where I slightly come unstuck because, I don't believe in spirits, ghosts or angels.  

Complete disbelief in deity simply.

Atheists don't believe in God.

Atheism is the state of disbelief or lacking belief in all and any gods.  It's not a group,  or organization, it doesn't have teachings, dogmas, formal leaders or structure. It merely describes a person that lacks belief in all gods, nothing more, nothing less.

What is superstition according to you?

Atheism is the disbelief in gods. Those who claim that gods exist have yet to provide any testable evidence to support those claims. Until they do I do not believe in gods.

Are you asking for my stance beyond atheism or what atheism is? It's a lack of belief in deities. I however, am of the opinion that the gods of religion, that people offered sacrifices to to get favorable weather or to win battles, are false. And if there's an unknowable creator being, it would be rash to label this as a "god".

Not believing there is some sort of god watching over us.
