Your question is vague. What's the point in what? Using the site? Not taking it seriously? If you find no 'point' in using the site, then why are you here? Everyone here has their own reasons for being here or staying here (in the case of those who have been here a while).
Saying "practically nobody" means that SOME do take the site seriously. There are users who are here for those people as well as to help reduce the activity by those who show how they don't take it seriously, by posting violations.
