What would you like to see in a world war 2 movie?
Like any particular things you want to be included? Things you want to see more emphasized? Things you wish were in other world war 2 films? Anything

I feel like WW2 has been done to death. I would just like Hollywood to do something original with it, or just stay away.
One alternative is to actually try to go super-factual. Imagine a series of movies dramatizing every major event in order. Each starts with a spoken/map based summary to get people up to speed on where we are, and then you dramatize major happenings with as much factual accuracy as you can possibly muster.
Maybe you signal your intention to do a series, and promise that once each movie has made it's money through the usual processes, that you'll make it available via streaming to any school that registers with you to show it in an educational context. Start with
WW2: The Rise of Fascism (show all three major axis nations' rise, we conclude with them all being in power.
WW2: The Drums of War (show how appeasement of Hitler lead to his early success, and the early success of Japan)
Then actually slow it down and start doing a movie per major campaign. Really show the personalities of the people over time, the events, the politics, the technology. These are ensemble films and when they're done they should be both educational AND entertaining. And make sure to show the perspectives of more than just the US and UK. Highlight Vichy France, the incredible sacrifices of the USSR (Russia more than anyone won the war against Hitler), Chinese occupation and resistance...yes, this means possibly showing Mao in a flattering context...so be it.
