Should I go to the dr?

So I have a cough and runny nose and watery eyes. I've had it for about 4 weeks. I have no other symptoms. No fever, no sore throat, nothing. I've taken mucinex for it which helps a bit, and I've taken claritin more recently which also seems to be helping a bit. But it's still here. My cough isnt severe at all, and I'm feeling a bit better the last few days. But my boyfriend really thinks I should go to the doctor for it. The problem is, dont have the money for that right now. So I dont want to go unless I really need to. So I wanted to get your opinions if I should go to the doctor for it or not.

Update:

I wanted to add that covid has put me out of work, so while I dont think that's what I have, if it is, I have not been exposing people. I dont even go to the store. I have my groceries delivered

If those are your only symptoms, the problem is likely to be from allergies, in which case, you are already doing almost as much as the doctor can do.  A doc could prescribe a steroid that might provide more relief than an antihistamine.

If you have some type of infection, it would likely be viral, and again, you are already doing all that can be done to manage it.   So seeing a doctor would be a waste of time unless you develop additional symptoms such as persistent fatigue, trouble breathing, chest pain, or fever.

I believe that a persistent cough, for instance, should get evaluated by a medical doctor.  If going to the local "urgent care center," one may need to call from the parking lot beforehand.  In addition, *some* urgent care centers may test for Covid-19 too.

Probably an allergy. Try another anti-allergy medication instead of Claritin. If your symptoms are worse indoors, maybe dust is causing it. Wash your pillow. If it's caused by pollen, pollen levels may decrease in a few weeks because spring is over. My advice is wait a few more weeks.
