Is SAT test necessary for College?
I’m planning to go to college soon, most likely a two year community college, but I wanted to know if SAT test is necessary or not, or does that depend on the college I plan to go and what major I’m gonna study? Back in high school I have taken the PSAT test. What do you think?

It does depend on the college. Many community colleges do NOT require the SAT or ACT, but some do.
Most 4-year colleges or universities require one or the other. Currently, there is difficulty getting those tests administered due to COVID so some schools are waiving those requirements for now.
You should look at the admissions page on the website of whichever school(s) you are considering. That should give you all the information you need.
The PSAT is not used for college admissions.

It depends on the college.
Community colleges don't require the SAT, although a recent SAT might get you out of some placement tests.
Most but not all four-year colleges typically require the SAT or ACT. However, because of Covid19, several are dropping the requirement for the next year or two, at least.
If you transfer from a community college to a four-year college or university, typically you won't need the SAT if you have 60 or more credits pending when you apply to transfer. Some four-years will drop their SAT requirement if you have at least 30 college credits when applying.
