Does the right actually like Trump? Or do they just hate the leftist ideology?
I have no love for Trump and I've never voted for a republican. But after watching the left's tantrum of the the last 3.5 years, and how they're cheer-leading the violent looting and destruction of our cities, I understand how an on-the-fence voter could be repulsed enough by the democrats to actually vote Orange in November.

The right is not a monolithic group. It is made up of factions that have some overlapping interest. Some people like or even love Trump. Some just think he is a better alternative to what the establishment has been offering.

Both.
Donald Trump has been under constant government persecution for nearly 40 years, the last twenty years under direct audit by the IRS without producing ANYTHING of note.
Trump was elected to expose entrenched corruption and evil, which is exactly what he is doing. You are seeing its true face when the left's version of 'corporate barons,' (criminal narco-barons and 'ghetto thugs'), compel their minions to march in mass rallies during a lethal virus outbreak, loot and burn down the 'competition' (local legitimate businesses hiring minorities and offering them nongovernmental benefits), tear down important historical monuments and destroy longstanding art, ignite race wars, class wars and 'gender' wars, (the 'Me Too' wing).
By stark contrast, Trump cut through red tape and Press defamation to reach out to his private industry colleagues, (actual legally recognized legitimate 'corporate barons'), to create a brand new medical infrastructure specifically to address this and all future pandemics. They did it in under two months, which is what is keeping our mortality rate at 4.5% even while reopening the dynamic economy Trump's policies have produced.
Trump is a legitimate developer who has been beating back the influence of the lawless sprawling government ghetto system for 40 years, providing alternative employment, often right near or even in the ghettos themselves. He builds family friendly resorts, suburban communities, golf courses and clubs, many of which are responsible for 'quietly' raising $ billions for charity, civic organizations and higher education.
Personally, Trump doesn't smoke, drink or do drugs and his children have followed his good example, avoiding one of the great modern scourges of our society. Though he is branded as a 'chronic philanderer' he has had only two notable 'affairs' in 40 years, one of which is likely not even true, (a supposed 'one-off' encounter with a blackmailing Internet prostitute presenting no actual proof), and a woman he was trying to court for marriage near the ugly end of his first marriage. He has been married his entire life. Unlike infamous 'liberal' Presidents, (F.D.R., J.F.K., Clinton, etc...), he has had no 'affairs' while actually serving in office.
The rest is just baseless spin, Press lies, manufactured scandal attempts and push back from the entrenched corruption in Washington he was elected to expose and help us end.

It's the leftist nonsense that people dislike. Do you believe anyone wanted Trump to be president? But if not him it would have been Bill Clinton's wife and that would be a thousand times worse for the nation. I like the idea of a businessman in office. Soft and weak Americans sometimes need a dose of reality about economics and life. They will never find such things on the left. Free everything for everyone anyone? It economically is impossible. But the Bernie types won't tell you that.

I'm no fan of Joe Biden, but I'm voting for him anyway because if Trump gets a second term it will send America into an irreversible decline.

If you are inclined to say "the left is cheer-leading the violent looting and destruction", which is of course patently and provably false, then yes you do indeed love Trump. The people looting and destroying are not the same people who are peaceably protesting, and you already *know that*. That being the case, at this point you are simply pretending to think otherwise, which is to say you're bald-faced lying, for no other reason than to protect the image of Don Trump and to protect your own dignity having realized your error of installing him in the first place.
