Final Days?

Pandemic. Murder Hornets. Groups stating how life matters.

Most religions have a description of the end of humanity, where neighbor will turn against neighbor, and the Earth will be ravaged by a plague. Some would consider the pandemic a plague. There are also waves of animals, (Elephants, and many others) dying without explanation or reason. So do you think we are in the final days of human life?

The book of revelation talks about 7 seals representing era's of the earth. The seventh seal began around the year 2000 (possibly April 6, 2000 based on some activities). and last 1000 years. It will include the return of Christ and the thousand years of peace. It is prophesied that Christ will return in the beginning of the seventh seal. According to the timeline, there should have been silence until the year 2017 and then  the sun would be darkened. Note that the total solar eclipse in 2017 went across the entire United States and there was total darkness in 7 cities named Salem (definition of Salem is peace. It is as if someone drew a dark line over all cities that are named peace). (my son who lives in Salem Oregon experienced it). There was also a very unusual alignment of planets in 2017 that occured in the constellation of Virgo (virgin) which could have been additional fulfilment of prophesy. According to  this timeline, the tribulation could begin in 2020 and last for 3 and a half years. Anyway, there are a number of other things that seem to be fulfillment of these prophesies and Christ may come much sooner than we think.

I think that the message is that we should be prepared. Like the parable of the 10 virgins, it will be too late to prepare once Christ returns. We need to dump the philosophies of pop Christianity and learn to live a life of prayer, repentance and dedication to living Christ like lives of sacrifice and goodness.

I am amazed at how far society has fallen during my lifetime (I was born in 1950). Who would have thought that humans could accept what has become acceptable? Like the frog in slowly heating water, we have become numb to the horrors of our day. We think that all is well and yet spiritual hardness and abominations are everywhere. And yet, the scriptures teach that life would be going on as usual (marrying, etc.) when Christ comes. If Christ comes and we are not prepared, it will be extremely tramatizing.

Neighbor has turned against neighbor, and there have been plagues and unexplained animal deaths all throughout history.

Religious descriptions of 'end times' are superstitious nonsense - except for the description in 'Revelations' which was misinterpreted to describe 'end times' when it is actually written in a sort of 'code' about events current to the people who wrote it.

Ugh, cupcake? We know why elephants are dying or dead. It's mostly humans, if not completely human-related. Including encroachment into their habitat and killing them for their tusks. Same with rhinos. Giraffes also face extinction due to people invading into where they eat, live, breed, poop and sleep. We know why animals are going extinct these days. We also know why they went extinct back in the day and I don't wanna start fights so I will move on.

Plague. Sweetie, diseases are part and parcel of humanity. I'd get over that there's a special plague sent to blah dee blah. That's a tired old doomsdayer cry since way back. I'd say from the time people lived in caves, if not before that. It was only until recently that we humans have been able to get a handle on diseases. Antibiotics are fairly new, sweetie pants. Then hey, evolution, which allowed those bacteria to evolve into resistant strains that needed stronger antibiotics and...There's always a catch, eh?

We know quite well this current pandemic was allowed to pandemic away because politicians didn't wanna look bad. That's not just in the USA. There's other factors here and it's far more complicated than re-election attempts, of course.

Murder hornets was, what, May's calling card? I think we're up to teargassing moms in Portland to look tough and strong. Fascists for Beginners or something, eh.

So hey, calm the heck down. I know it's fun to think the world's about to end...Is it, really? I never got that particular fetish. What does it do for you? Maybe you can pour all that anxiety [?] into some art work or maybe start a blog. The Murder Hornet Review or something equally 2020. If the world ends, hey, you can have something to show Zeus. Or whoever's ending the world this time.

It has been said we are living in the final days for centuries.   But, study world history and these things have always occurred.   And modern times are certainly no worse than the days of the Black Death and the Spanish Influenza.

    yes of course

The Bible uses the expression “last days” to refer to the concluding time period leading up to a divinely appointed execution that marks the end of a system of things. The Jewish system with its worship built around the temple in Jerusalem experienced its last days from 33 to 70 C.E. What occurred then was pictorial of what would be experienced in a greatly intensified way and on a global scale at a time when all nations would be facing the execution of judgment decreed by God. The present wicked system of things, which extends worldwide, entered its last days in 1914, and some of the generation alive then will also be on hand to witness its complete end in the “great tribulation.”The various aspects of the sign are recorded at Matthew chapters 24, 25, Mark 13, and Luke 21; there are further details at 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 2 Peter 3:3, 4, and Revelation 6:1-8.

for the last 50 years these people called Jehovah's witnesses have been knocking on your door telling you that this has been coming and for the most part people run them off well now that it's here it's in your face do what they've been telling you to do start praying to Jehovah God In The name of Jesus Christ and asking for his help if you don't then exactly what they've been telling you is going to happen is going to happen.God will say I've had enough of this old mess and wipe everybody out and create something new on this planet but will be ancient history like the dinosaurs.humans have had the last 7000 years to present their audition and for the most part the show that they put on well it's not a very pleasing sight we had better get busy improving the performance before the end or when we leave the stage that's the end of us

I believe that this pandemic is one of Satan's many wicked schemes, but no I don't believe it's our final days, although I don't know for sure because I believe God's going to call us home whenever he wants to and we'll never know when that will be. I also believe that Satan's not going to win, God is and he's going to get us through this pandemic and bring us out to be better people. Yes a lot of people are dying from it, but I believe he called them home for a reason, I don't know what it is, but I know he does everything for a reason, but to those of us who are still living he's going to bring us out better that's if he doesn't call us home.
