Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and beginning April 20th, 2021 (Eastern Time) the Yahoo Answers website will be in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.

On a scale of 1-10 how retarded do you have to be to think suspending comments on Yahoo News is an abridgment of "free speech"?

Update:

I think there might be some confusion about the scale here. 1 would mean "very slightly retarded," and 10 would be "totally retarded."

Update 2:

Obviously it is possible to fundamentally misunderstand the concept of "free speech" without being being literally "retarded" so feel  free to interpret the term figuratively.

Update 3:

Let's make this easy: 1st person to answer 10 gets BA.

Probably 1. I’m not confused about the scale. I don’t think it’s “retarded” to think that being prevented from commenting restricts free speech - because it kind of does.

It's not a big deal. No one really cares except for those whose only social interaction is spent on Yahoo answers. LMAO
