How long does it typically take the corona virus to kill someone?
Like if Trump suddenly got COVID-19 and it was going to kill him, how long would we have to wait to not have him as president anymore?

I'd hope that he would put up a great effort to fight it and of course only the best that our tax dollars will buy.
But, in the end the effects from massive IBS, intestinal distention, exploding anal warts on his face will be too much for his wife to bear and will sleep with Jared in front of the Donald which will make him so upset that he will trip over his own tiny feet while trying to go down a flight of stairs and break his chicken neck. (or something like that)

It's the complications that kill, not the virus itself. The death rate for over 70's is high (around 14%) but not 100%. More, mortality seems to be dropping as the medics find better ways of treating the illness.
But, worse coming to worse, it's 12 to 17 days from onset to death when it happens, averaging out at 14 days. And, if he got a serious case of covid, he's be incapacitated in about the same time frame, maybe enough to withdraw from the fat life.

The median time from symptoms to death is about 2 weeks but highly variable. This disease can precipitate death in many ways.

The "tL" of SARS-CoV-2 is 10 days.
Which is why you see death peak on Tuesday every week; that would be the people who got it attending churches a week and a half earlier.
