The MLB pulled a game from GA so how is ONE game going to affect a business? Doesn't that just mean they didn't plan right?

That game would have brought over a hundred million dollars to Atlanta which is 80% black.  Over 8 thousand hotel rooms were already booked.  Restaurants were looking forward to regaining much of their loss from covid.  Many people would have been hired to work there for this game.  On the other hand, Colorado is only 10% black and their election laws are more restrictive than GA's new laws.  Can you make any sense of it?

It's all about money! The All Star Game generates millions, Hotels, restaurants, shopping, site seeing & of course, the game, itself. Not just any game. Along with others, they think their  (unnecessary new) election laws are too restrictive, so  hit 'em in the 'ole pocketbook where it hurts the most.
