What does God love about humans?

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. (Colossians 1:15-18).

Why does God love humans?  Maybe we could ask "Why does God love humans most? Notice in Colossians it is said that everything has been created through him and “for him.” God does everything for his own glory. Could it be, that the reason he loves us and honors us above other parts of creation is because we reveal (glorify) him more? And intermingled with that thought, could it be that because he loves humans most, he has ordained us to reveal him best? 

WE have been chosen as a host for His Spirit. 

A good parent doesn't have to look for things to love about their children. They just love them for who they are.

What does Droopy the dog love about humans?

God made man according to his own image and likeness. That should be more than enough reasons.

He made them, so why would HE not love them.

God loves humanity's ability to discard theism 

and supplemental beliefs, and accept Him for who He truly is. 

He loves humans more because they reflect more of His nature than other creatures. Or that is what they suppose to do, humans should love each other and God 

Couple of points.  "Let Us make man in Our image; according to Our likeness."  Gen. 1:26  "For scarcely for a righteous man will one die, yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. [8] But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."  Rom. 5:7-8  Compare Rom. 11:33-36.

God Almighty loves the worship humans do, that is His most beloved worship than the rest of His creatures who also worshiping  Him. Yet God becomes very happy when human beings prostrate to God Almighty, the One and Only, and declaring His Supremacy, the fact He is Most High and praising Him.

He loves that humans think she created them .
