How Do I get My Mozilla Firefox Search Bar To Search With Google?
A couple weeks ago I was trying to download a video from Youtube via a site, but it wasn't working for this particular video, so I tried several different sites. Several of them were saying I needed a new flash-player/update and etc. so I tried a couple of them. None of them worked, so I didn't- but now whenever I try to search for something on the little search bar (for example, searching for: Google) it searches for it on Yahoo for some reason. I've checked the different search settings in Options and tried setting it to Google, but it continues to search on Yahoo. And when I go to google.com, that shows up, but then when I type in something in the search bar on the Google website, it searches for it on Yahoo. I've copied-and-pasted Google searches (the web address for the search) from other internet browsers (like Edge and Chrome) and when I click entre, THOSE searches show up, but the Firefox Search Bar STILL searches on Yahoo. Any idea on what has happened, and HOW can I get the Search Bar back to searching on Google???

Open Firefox. In the upper right corner click on the Hamburger (three horz lines).
In the dropdown menu click on OPTIONS.
In Options click on SEARCH then in Default Search Engine change to Google.

In FF, click on the three horizontal bars, just below the "X" button in the upper right corner. Then, click on "Options". In the options page, click on "Search" in the left pane. Make sure Google is the default search engine and that Google is the first "One-Click Search Engine".
However, the more concerning thing is that you probably downloaded malware of some sort that changed your browser settings. I strongly recommend running a malware and virus scan.
