What's the correct mathematical expression for a<0 and d<0 at the same time in an equation?

Assume that in an algebraic equation is true for a>0, d>0. But if a<0 and d<0 at the same time, then this algebraic equation is also true, what's the correct mathematical expression for a<0 and d<0 at the same time in an equation?

mathematically , both "and" and "⋂" mean the

    intersection of two equations.

    If you don't know whether a> d or d> a, then

    (a < 0) and (d < 0)

    (a<0) ⋂ (d<0)

If a and d are constants and  you know whether

     a >  d,  then it simplifies to   d<0

    or

if you know d>a  , then it simplifies to a<0

    You could write a, d<0
