Question about applying Testosterone gel?

I put the gel in my shoulder and wait about 10-15 minutes before putting in a shirt but my shirt sticks to my shoulder throughout the day.   Is the medicine not absorbing the way it should because it’s sticking to my shirt.    Even if I wait 30-40 minutes it still sticks 

Update:

I only apply what the Dr’s prescribed.   I rub it in till it’s not slippery anymore.

    Are you rubbing it in thoroughly? It sounds like you might be using too much.
