Why do Americans think Russians are asian but people from Poland are not ?

    Because Russia is in two continents, Asia and Europe...duh!

    My ancestors were Russian.  I don't consider myself to be of an Asian background.

    Have you given up your pit bull obsession for your Russian/Poland/white people obsession?

    The division between Europe and Asia runs through western Russia, not Poland.  Russia has land in both continents, with the majority being in Asia, while Poland is all in Europe.
