I honestly don’t see why anyone would expect any less from Republicans. That being said, if you want a dying wish fulfilled, try the “make a wish” foundation.

Even RBG knew better than to believe the country would give up the opportunity to place a constitutionalist on the supreme court because of her dying wish.

What wish was that? Seems there are rumors of her mumbling something derogatory about the president. As any lawyer or jurist would know though, nothing except written wish and instructions are something that should be considered. She would have known this and she would have written instructions out if they were in fact important to her. Keep trying snowflakes. And be sure to tune in later today at 5 eastern when the president announces his nomination for her replacement. I'm sure that's what she would want. And I'm sure if there was written evidence contrary to that it would have been produced by now

I played games like this when I was a kid. It took a pretty dumb broad to fall for it and drop to her knees.

Why on earth would we be obligated to honor her "last wish?"
The Republicans need to honor conservatives' first wish, which is to fill the damned seat.

Cons are taking the high road by appointing a Supreme Court Justice who hopefully will protect the lives of innocent unborn children.

pretty odd that her last wish goes against all her other interviews...I think if she wanted a democrat to pick her successor she would not risk having the seat empty for another 4 years...she got greedy...she should have quit 6 years ago if she wanted her seat to stay in the hands of the communists...

I heard it was Scalia's last wish to have Roe v. Wade overturned. How come the Democrats disrespected THAT last wish?

I don't think it was her last wish based on what she said in 2016. I think she probably voiced opposition to Trump in general, and maybe wished for a successor with similar views, but never intended any wish would be enforced under the Constitution. She was a judge for goodness sake!

Last wishes whether real or imagined are not an element of law , the Constitution or the appointment of Supreme Court Justices .
