Why do i feel bad for not seeing my brother yesterday?

This might sound a little silly but i feel sort of bad for not seeing my older bro yesterday for his birthday. I told him the day before i was going over parents house to visit them, he stays with parents and my little brother. I know he spent a little time with our parents and he said that he had played xbox with my youngerr brother for a bit and then his girlfriend came over and he hung with her the rest of the day. I just feel like i should i have visited, yes i was busy but i mean it was his 23rd birthday. Im 20 and when i turn 21 in april, he probably will not do anything with me, even though it is my milestone birthday. Ii just feel kinda even more distant from my family lately. Idk if its because i moved out am a lot busier or what.
