JUST SHOWS HOW FAR THE DESCENDANTS OF NOAH AND HIS SONS SPREAD WITH THE STORY OF HOW THEY ESCAPED THE FLOOD.

GENESIS IS THE ACTUAL TRUTH OF THE FLOOD.

No, the book of Genesis says nothing about 300 legends.

I think the Genesis account plagiarized the 'Epic of Gilgamesh'.

There are also stories that predate the bible about a king who floated some of his livestock down-river on a barge during a *localized* flood - just add exaggeration.

Nothing in the bible is real.

Humans need water to survive which is why all early settlements were on rivers or lakes. All rivers flood so every settlement has flood stories. There is no evidence anywhere for a global flood but plenty of evidence for local floods.

What I think is that civilizations that live where catastrophic floods happen have legends of catastrophic floods.  And that virtually none of the details of those legends match the Genesis story.

Now, if you could find a flood legend from a civilization that DOESN'T experience floods, that might mean something.

    Best of luck.

The other flood narratives list different gods and different characters.  The Hebrews deliberately created a lie by changing the other gods to their god and the other characters to their characters.
