Spilled drink by outlet?
Something got spilled by a power surge and outlet. I felt near both areas but didn’t feel wetness next to them, just in a different spot that was by it. How do I know if the surge or outlet got wet ?

You don't need to know whether or not anything got wet.
If nothing sparked, smoked, or quit working, there is no problem.

If it still functions than there is not problem. it no longer functions then the water caused damage of some sort. If the outlet is GFCI it could have just tripped the GFCI and if you reset it and it works all is fine. IF the surge protector "protected" you would like need to replace the surge protector.
