Someone I don't know wants to meet me in at their house?

If an unknow person want to meet you at his residence definitely it is with an ulterior motive . If it is with a genuine interest to get to know you for the sake of friendship he could always do so at a public place . Avoid meeting him . Ask him to fly a kite.

Anyone who won't meet in a public place is up to no good, especially if they get agitated about your refusal to go to a stranger's home. It's a fact that they're more likely to catch COVID by inviting a stranger over than by meeting a stranger outdoors in the fresh air. Offer new dates a walk in the park and if they insist on their place you'll know to block them. 

If a man feels this way - then he's NOT the right one for you.  It is extremely safe to go out into public now.  Let the snowflakes stay home and keep looking.

Wait for a man who's more considerate and thoughtful.  The first meeting needs to be something that works for both of you, and both must feel comfortable and safe.

Reject any who will not meet up in a public place.

You never go to a strangers home. You meet in public for many meetings, not just the first.

Because they think they can talk you into coming over and it won't even cost them a cup of coffee to entice a female stranger into their lair.  Suggest a walk together downtown. Masked. Maybe a sit down at an outdoor cafe.  Come into my home designates that they are NOT quarantined. Inviting strangers into your home is NOT what a person who is quarantined would do.
