Laptop hard drive upgrade?
Hi I need a hard drive upgrade for my laptop. Specifically a hp pavilion gaming 15 and I need one in the terabytes for it

If you want to do it yourself go to any local computer store and purchase a 1TB laptop drive and an external caddy. These will most likely be 2.5” form factor.
Ideally get an SSD rather than an HDD.
After that you can mount the drive into the external caddy, plug it in and clone the old drive to the new so it will be an identical copy but much larger. You can then swap round the drive and the system should boot straight off the new drive. Most new drives will come with some free cloning software.
You obviously have to be comfortable removing the hard drive from the laptop. If all this sounds too difficult take it to a tech.

WHAT HARD DRIVE to use...is perhaps tricky.
HP offers a 1 TB drive
and it's possible that > 1TB drives are available (from other suppliers) that will also fit inside that system.
CONTACT HP and ask them what drives are suitable for installation in that PC.
Make sure to have your model number and serial number available.
