Does putting a poster in a plastic sleeve\bag help protect from UV damage and Fading when hanging on wall?

    If you have an expensive poster you have it framed and ask for UV protective plastic or glass.

    Only if the container specifically says it does.

    More likely the container itself is acidic, and is destroying the item it is supposed to  protect.

    Most plastic bags are not UV protective.
