Back in the day when I first joined in 2007 they used to do that and have other good things but they decided to change it up and make the layout bad also muddling the answers up. I think for users to not be able to play avi games as we used to do that..which was so much fun. Staff and maybe a few users do not like to see others happy and defo don't want us to interact with one another maybe another reason to get rid of IM, Email, and other things plus Comments! I dislike Y!A when they do that as Y!A is much more boring without those things.
They set it up to Relevance but you can change the answer layout to show Oldest first or different settings to show either one of the 4 things u can set the answers to ur q on.
