Why is it so hard for some people in the USA to acknowledge that Latinos vote Republican?

Not all Spanish-speaking US citizens vote Democrat. Plenty of Latinos from Cuba, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Venezuela know the dangers of Socialist Government. That's why they vote Republican. These people lost property, business, money, relatives to Castro, Pinochet, Maduro and other rulers who embraced Socialism/Communism. Hugo Chavez was on a level with Castro and Pinochet.

26% of Hispanics voted for Trump in 2016 and 6% of African Americans. Those are Pews final figures after looking at all their figures from verified voters.

In another article they tell us that 57% of Hispanics of Cuban extraction voted Republican, hardly an overwhelming majority.

There have been many great Latinx conservatives.   Pinochet, Trujillo, Alfredo Stroessner, Noriega etc.

Correct.  My neighbor lost everything to Castro, including the watch off of his wrist.  My father in law saw the Khymer Rouge murder his mother and father in front of him.

What do you expect to be done, there's no rewards for acknowledgement, or jumping through hoops regardless of party affiliation.

The majority don't. 66% of Hispanics voted Hillary Clinton in 2016 and 70% of them voted Democrat in the 2018 midterms (source: Pew Research). There is no indication that's going to change this year.

The issue is complicated as "Latinos" aren't one big blob. They differ by race and national origin. White Cubans in Florida lean Republican but Mexicans and Puerto Ricans lean Democrat. White Hispanics (real ones, not slightly lighter-skinned Mestizos) vote a lot like non-Hispanic Whites, which means a preference for Republicans. Black and brown Hispanics vote like other blacks and browns... majority Democrat.

Once Whites are no longer the majority in enough states, the Republicans in the present form are done for. They deserve it for taking Whites for granted and joining in with left-wing anti-White virtue signalling.
