Pot Brownies-- when making cannabutter do you cook the pot at 220F for 20 minutes or not? Or just add the pot to melted butter chopped up.

Where cannabis is legal in one form or another you decarboxylate it for 25 minutes at approximately 230f. Any hotter and it will ruin the herb and any colder than 190f and the THC-A won't properly transform to THC which is the psychoactive compound. While not decarbing your bud is fine if you are burning or vaporizing the cannabis through a water pipe or a cigarette, it's a necessary step when making edibles such as brownies. Grind the bud prior to decarbing so it has more surface area exposed.
