I went to the post office and they still can’t tax it. They saying cos the mot is due tomoro. So even if you have an mot, but as it’s close to the due date, you can’t tax it. That’s stupid...Update. Sorted my mot and got my car tax on time 😅

Can I "GET" my road tax? I didn't think you "GOT" road tax, I thought you PAID road tax ?
"I can’t tax my car online".
Do you mean that you cannot PAY your taxes online?
Better relent and go to the Post Office.

There is no grace period. Once your car tax has expired and if no SORN declaration has been made by then, you become liable for an automatic penalty charge plus the cost of the tax you missed.
But it’s clearly not sent out at the stroke of midnight after the tax expires.
Your best bet is to phone DVLA; you’ll just have to put up with the phone queue, which is worst right at the end of the month as you’re not the only person in this fix. The phone queues will be much worse tomorrow as it’s the last day you and all the others can do anything about it, so try straight away.
If you explain that you cannot pay until Monday at the earliest BEFORE they have identified you as a late payer, then they’ll see that you’re not trying to avoid payment deliberately. Staff at DVLA are generally very helpful and eager to assist.
You may be able to sidestep all of that: if you have somewhere off-road to park the car then you can declare SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification) on the DVLA website today. Off road means anywhere to which the general public to do have free access: so a private driveway or even a front garden is fine, a council estate residential parking spot or the local Tesco car park is not.
Do not be tempted to declare SORN and then leave the car on the road unused. Any traffic cameras nearby or any passing Plodmobile with ANPR will immediately flag that up as an offence and the penalty is much worse than for simply forgetting to retax the car on time as it counts as a dishonest and criminal false declaration.
You are legally allowed to drive directly from the SORN location to a previously booked MOT. The car must be insured and the journey must be direct: no stopping for a pint of milk or a packet of smokes on the way. If you do get stopped by Plod or caught by a camera, you can refer them to your pre-booked MOT. If you get stopped for a roadworthiness defect such as bald tyres, loose exhaust and similar items then you will still face prosecution as no car is ever allowed on the road with those defects. In reality it’s also not usually a problem if you’re directly headed for an MOT.
Once your car passes on Monday, wait about half an hour for the DVLA database to update (it often does so instantly). Then tax your car and drive home legally.
Road tax is due on the first day of every month, not the last, so technically your car has already been untaxed since October 1st (if I have understood you correctly). But DVLA allow the full tax for the month it’s due to be paid any day up to the last day of the month.
In future, avoid the panic: you can re-tax your car up to one month BEFORE it is due and preserve the original renewal date. Doing it that way allows plenty of time if the car fails MOT and needs repairs.

Make the effort and visit the Post Office. Although they will date the tax from the 1st of October. Better that than get fined for driving an untaxed vehicle. Plan it better next year!
