While "racking" may be a common term in your area, I don't live there so it means NOTHING to me..As soon as you f-ruck around with electrical wiring you are messing with Qualifications(and you are not a Qualified Electrician.  Plumbing is not stuck to a qualified Plumber(you can fudge that as it is just replacing pipe with other pipe.

Burst pipes happen because the heating was shut off in a cold winter and the pipes froze.

Insulation is another DIY type job.

Old houses sometimes did not have full sheathing. These are the boards that to under then siding. Now it is particle board or plywood sheathing. Over this goes an underlayment of plastic and then the siding. Also called a wrap. This ties all the studs and flooring into place cutting down on how much the structure flexes in the wind.

The next issue is the floor joists, which in old houses often was not enough for the span. These need to be sistered so they are stronger and don't flex as much. Additional supports also might be needed.

I have worked on houses that had just enough boards under the siding to have something to nail too. Other older homes have 1x6 or some other similar wood. Some times these (and the studs) have dry rotted. Causing the building to be noisy in wind and hard to keep warm (or cool).

Right now in may parts of the country it is not the right time to start ripping off the siding to get down to where the problem might be.

Stiffen the corners.  The easy way is to remove the interior wall and screw in 5/8" exterior grade plywood into the studs.  Then put your sheet rock over the plywood.  You also need to look at the floor and ceiling joists because they are loose as well. The best way to stiffen them is with a gusset of some type in the framing.

you need professionals. you can't do this by yourself. you need a structural engineer to inspect the racking and a general contractor for the rest.

You should get a structural engineer in, but you you could introduce diagonal cross bracing in a couple of the walls as necessary. These could be timber struts or steel cables and hidden behind wall linings.
