Need proof that the Left has gone completely nuts?

The university of Wisconsin's Black Student Union and the Student Inclusion Coalition started a petition on Change.org in early June to remove Lincolns statue.

That means that two student groups want Lincoln's statue gone. 

I couldn't find out how many members the two groups have, but the U of W has 43,463 students. But I could find the total number of black students, 945.

So you really don't have proof of anything,  other than the fact that some of the schools black students want Lincoln's statue removed. Which I think is more an exercise in Freedom of speech than anyone going completely nuts.

Even if all the black students agreed to REQUEST that the school remove Lincoln's statue, that's 2% of the student population. 

Lincoln did not end slavery.

In the Emancipation Proclamation, Lincoln specifically said that only slaves in places still "in rebellion" were to be freed, and that slaves in states that had stayed in the Union or and slaves in places had already been captured by Union troops were not to be freed.

These slaves were not freed until after Lincoln died.

SJW-trolls do not speak for the left in general

So how does a few college students count as "the Left?" That blip didn't even make it onto national news. You couldn't even find the story unless you were intentionally hunting for abberant, straw-man arguments.

If the Left could control language (which is a goal of theirs). Phrases like "that which can not be mentioned" & "the day of no memory" would become common speak. 

I'm on the left and I'm a lifelong fan of Lincoln.  There's no law that says that I have to always agree with people of my own party.  

That's nuts, but not as nuts as supporting Donald Trump.

Removing the statue may be a bit much but the fact does remain that even though Lincoln was against slavery he was also very much a white supremacist that believed the white man superior to the black man.

This isn't opinion or speculation, it's a matter of fact, Lincoln made his thoughts on the matter well known in numerous writings.

I agree with them. They should take down Abraham Lincoln's statue and erect a statue of Adolf Hitler or Vladimir Lenin or Joseph Stalin or whoever they want. I don't care. 

Another Trump win would be the biggest middle finger to all these raging leftists. Imagine the chaos.
